Iowa High School Baseball - Carlisle loses to Ballard
June 13, 2024: Carlisle, IA 50047 The Ballard Bombers crushed the host Carlisle Wildcats baseball team by a count of 10-2 in Thursday's league bout.
The Bombers now possess a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Boone for a Raccoon River bout on Monday, June 17. Ballard will battle a Toreadors squad coming off a 13-8 non-league win over Webster City (Webster City, IA). The Toreadors record now stands at 11-8.
With the defeat, Carlisle falls to 5-14 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Winterset (Winterset, IA) to battle the Huskies in a Raccoon River test on Monday, June 17. The Huskies come into the test with a record of 7-11. Winterset lost 17-6 in their recent non-league bout against Solon (Solon, IA)
