North Carolina High School Basketball - Northwest Cabarrus nudges Lake Norman Charter

January 31, 2025: Huntersville, NC 28078

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) and the host Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), observed Northwest Cabarrus's basketball team edge Lake Norman Charter by a score of 80-75.

The Trojans (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons come into the 3A South Piedmont challenge with a 5-13 record. In their last challenge, West Rowan was tipped by Concord (Concord, NC), 71-56, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Knights encounter the Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC) in a 3A South Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, February 4. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to improve on its 6-10 season record.
