The Highland Tech Rams bounced the visiting East Gaston Warriors basketball squad by a final score of 72-36 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Rams face the Burns Bulldogs (Lawndale, NC) in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont outing, on Tuesday, January 28. Highland Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the outing with a 13-4 record after their 90-64 league win over Shelby (Shelby, NC).

The Warriors (2-15) will now prepare for their outing against Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Ironmen enter the 1A/2A Southern Piedmont outing with a 1-16 record.
