The Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) basketball crushed the host East Rowan Mustangs (Salisbury, NC), 66-36 in Tuesday's league test.

The Trojans (11-5) will now prepare for their test against West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC). The Falcons go into the 3A Conference 48 test with a 18-0 record. In their last test, West Rowan walloped A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC), 73-12, in a non-league test.

The Mustangs now own a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Lake Norman Charter for a 3A Conference 48 test on Friday, January 27. East Rowan will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 63-25 league win over Carson (China Grove, NC). The Knights record now stands at 11-6.
