Game Summary
The Squires were away vs Littlestown Bolts the day after their senior night game. Many were banged up from the two 95 minute and 100 minute games in the last 72 hours. All of the Squires starters started the game but didn't stay in the game or couldn't play fully. The first half was a perfectly played game of soccer by both sides with excellent passing and moving the ball and defending shots. They were 0-0 at half. Later in the 2nd half, there were more fouls called and the Squires had multiple players go out of the game and some came back. A penalty called led to a direct kick for the Bolts and the original kick was saved by Liam Russell #1 GK but bounced off his hands and with no defender there the ball was struck into the net for a Bolt score. The game ended 1-0.
