Washington, DC High School Basketball - Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering overwhelmed by Ron Brown

The Ron Brown Monarchs basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers to 43 in the Monarchs league victory on Friday.

The Monarchs now sport a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bard for a DCIAA contest on Monday, January 9. Ron Brown will battle a Falcons team coming off a 69-26 league win over Bell (Washington, DC). The Falcons record now stands at 8-4.

The Panthers (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Roosevelt (Washington, DC). The Roughriders come into the DCSAA AA contest with a 13-1 record. In their last contest, Roosevelt triumphed over St. Charles (Waldorf, MD), 71-63, in a non-league contest.
