January 26, 2024: Durham, CT 06422 Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Cromwell Panthers (Cromwell, CT) and the host Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils (Durham, CT), saw Cromwell's basketball squad wallop Coginchaug Regional by a count of 76-45.
With the win, Cromwell advances its record to 10-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Avon (Avon, CT) to encounter the Falcons in a non-league test on Monday, January 29. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 3-7. Avon lost 59-45 in their recent league test against New Britain (New Britain, CT)
The Blue Devils now own a 9-4 record. They play next when they travel to Westbrook for a Shoreline test on Tuesday, January 30. Coginchaug Regional will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 61-42 league loss to East Hampton (East Hampton, CT). The Knights record now stands at 1-9.
