The Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC) basketball were winner over the host Concord Spiders (Concord, NC), 59-50 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Knights now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they host Northwest Cabarrus for a 3A South Piedmont bout on Friday, January 31. Lake Norman Charter will play a Trojans team coming off a 78-30 league win over South Rowan (China Grove, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Concord falls to 12-7 on the campaign. The Spiders travel to West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to play the Falcons in a 3A South Piedmont bout on Friday, January 31. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 5-12. West Rowan lost 100-53 in their recent non-league bout against Salisbury (Salisbury, NC)
