February 11, 2024: Forestville, MD 20747 The Bishop McNamara Mustangs basketball team (Forestville, MD), was toppled 80-64 in Sunday's league battle with the visiting Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC)
The Eagles now possess a 23-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. John's for a DCSAA AA battle on Tuesday, February 13. Gonzaga will confront a Cadets team coming off a 64-40 league win over St. Mary's Ryken (Leonardtown, MD). The Cadets record now stands at 21-5.
The Mustangs (15-11) will now prepare for their battle against Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Falcons come into the Washington Catholic battle with a 7-20 record. In their last battle, Our Lady of Good Counsel was toppled by Paul VI (Chantilly, VA), 86-61, in a non-league battle.
