The Ron Brown Monarchs basketball team (Washington, DC), was toppled 54-37 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Ballou Knights (Washington, DC)

The Knights now possess a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Roosevelt for a DCSAA AA battle on Monday, January 30. Ballou will confront a Roughriders team coming off a 72-63 league win over Anacostia (Washington, DC). The Roughriders record now stands at 20-2.
