Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the School Without Walls Penguins (Washington, DC) and the host Ballou Knights (Washington, DC), saw School Without Walls's basketball squad hold off Ballou by a tally of 60-55.

With the victory, School Without Walls improves its record to 9-9 on the campaign. The Penguins travel to Banneker (Washington, DC) to confront the Bulldogs in a DCSAA A challenge on Friday, February 3. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 10-10. Banneker won 79-73 in their recent league challenge against Roosevelt (Washington, DC)

Next up, the Knights confront the Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA AA challenge, on Friday, February 3. Ballou will attempt to improve on its 7-17 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 24-6 record after their 74-57 league win over Anacostia (Washington, DC).
