Washington, DC High School Basketball - Jackson-Reed overwhelms Dunbar
December 20, 2023: Washington, DC 20001 Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Jackson-Reed Tigers (Washington, DC) and the host Dunbar Crimson Tide (Washington, DC), saw Jackson-Reed's basketball squad wallop Dunbar by a tally of 64-33.
With the victory, Jackson-Reed improves its record to 9-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Bowie (Bowie, MD) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 23. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 4-1. Bowie won 78-39 in their recent league challenge against Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD)
Next up, the Crimson Tide confront the Suitland Rams (Forestville, MD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 22. Dunbar will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Rams come into the challenge with a 0-3 record after their 71-43 league loss to Wise (Upper Marlboro, MD).
