Washington, DC High School Basketball - Ballou nudges Coolidge

January 6, 2023: Washington, DC 20011

Ballou Knights (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Coolidge Colts (Washington, DC), 55-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Ballou upgrades its record to 3-11 on the season. The Knights travel to Dunbar (Washington, DC) to clash with the Crimson Tide in a DCIAA bout on Monday, January 9. The Crimson Tide go into the bout with a record of 5-8.

Next up, the Colts clash with the Banneker Bulldogs (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA A bout, on Monday, January 9. Coolidge will attempt to upgrade on its 4-8 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 5-3 record after their 74-59 league loss to Cardozo (Washington, DC).
