January 23, 2023: Washington, DC 20002 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering Panthers (Washington, DC) and the visiting Ballou Knights (Washington, DC), saw Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering's basketball squad hold off Ballou by a count of 59-56.
With the victory, Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering upgrades its record to 4-13 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Banneker (Washington, DC) to play the Bulldogs in a DCSAA A challenge on Friday, January 27. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 7-10. Banneker lost 55-51 in their recent non-league challenge against DC International (Washington, DC)
Next up, the Knights play the Ron Brown Monarchs (Washington, DC) in a DCSAA A challenge, on Friday, January 27. Ballou will attempt to upgrade on its 6-15 season record. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a 3-15 record after their 57-53 league loss to Anacostia (Washington, DC).
