The Weddington Warriors ran past the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates basketball team by a final score of 70-61 in Tuesday's league game.

In their next game, the Warriors face the Cuthbertson Cavaliers (Waxhaw, NC) in a 4A Conference 58 game, on Friday, February 3. Weddington will attempt to move on its 12-8 season record. The Cavaliers enter the game with a 4-17 record after their 54-53 league loss to Marvin Ridge (Waxhaw, NC).
