Washington, DC High School Basketball - McKinley Tech toppled by Eastern
January 13, 2025: Washington, DC 20002 Eastern Ramblers (Washington, DC) supporters left the game satisfied Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host McKinley Tech Trainers (Washington, DC), 61-53 in a league match.
With the victory, Eastern advances its record to 8-4 on the year. The Ramblers travel to Roosevelt (Washington, DC) to face the Roughriders in a DCSAA AA match on Wednesday, January 15. The Roughriders enter the match with a record of 12-6. Roosevelt won 63-59 in their recent non-league match against Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD)
The Trainers now own a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dunbar for a DCIAA match on Wednesday, January 15. McKinley Tech will face a Crimson Tide squad coming off a 54-23 non-league win over School Without Walls (Washington, DC). The Crimson Tide record now stands at 3-4.
