The Roosevelt Roughriders (Washington, DC) basketball edged the visiting Eastern Ramblers (Washington, DC), 67-63 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Roughriders now possess a 22-7 record. They play next when they travel to Jackson-Reed for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. Roosevelt will play a Tigers team coming off a 61-26 non-league win over Ballou (Washington, DC). The Tigers record now stands at 21-6.

With the loss, Eastern falls to 14-8 on the campaign.
