Match Summary
The Lady Trojans celebrated Senior Night with a sweep of the Smithfield Packers, 25-7, 25-9, 25-17. The Trojans played all six seniors in the first set and returned them for the end of the third set, with the other nine players all seeing action during the match. The third set was an exercise in patience as the Packers got hopelessly out of rotation, losing two points and the serve on incorrect server faults, while multiple extensive lineup checks were required to recover their proper alignment. With the extensive delays, the Lady Trojans could not get in a good playing rhythm for their fast offense, winning the game but by a smaller margin than in the first two sets. Highlights included six Ks each by seniors Fallon Greenawalt, Kendall White, and junior Ava Nieto. Seniors Abby McLaughlin, Mackenzie Loveland, Hunter Harlow, and Chloe Phillips contributed 10, 5, 3, & 2 digs, respectively. Loveland added 19 assists, with Desi Stowe contributing 5. Leah Rounds led the blocking with 3.
