Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), 75-65 in a league match.

With the victory, Northwest Cabarrus advances its record to 2-2 on the year. The Trojans host A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC) to face the Wonders in a non-league match on Wednesday, December 4. The Wonders enter the match with a record of 2-3. A.L. Brown lost 81-79 in their recent non-league match against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC)

The Vikings now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Carson for a 3A South Piedmont match on Friday, December 6. Central Cabarrus will face a Cougars squad coming off a 86-62 league win over Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 4-0.
