The win keeps La Salle’s championship dreams alive as they fight through the losers’ bracket in the CHSAA 2022 Varsity Baseball ‘A’ Division Championship Tournament.
Izzac Garcia was stellar on the mound for La Salle tossing a complete game one-hitter, giving up only a first inning, unearned run, while striking out seven and walking only one.
On offense, the Cardinals pounded out 14 hits across four Loughlin pitchers enroute to a .500 batting average for the game. Carlos Lorenzo had another big day going 4 for 5 with a walk, RBI and two runs scored.
