The West Rowan Falcons basketball squad (Mt. Ulla, NC), was outscored 76-65 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC)

With the victory, Central Cabarrus advances its record to 7-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Robinson (Concord, NC) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A South Piedmont battle on Thursday, January 9. The Bulldogs enter the battle with a record of 12-2. Robinson won 84-83 in their recent league battle against Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC)

The Falcons now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Rowan for a 3A South Piedmont battle on Wednesday, January 8. West Rowan will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 69-50 league loss to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 1-11.
