North Carolina High School Basketball - Mountain Island Charter defeats Corvian Community

February 7, 2025: Mt. Holly, NC 28120

The Mountain Island Charter Raptors (Mt. Holly, NC) basketball were winner over the visiting Corvian Community Cardinals (Charlotte, NC), 50-30 in Friday's league bout.

The Raptors now possess a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Bradford Prep for a 1A/2A Catawba Shores bout on Tuesday, February 11. Mountain Island Charter will play a Bears team coming off a 48-39 league loss to Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC). The Bears record now stands at 6-13.

With the loss, Corvian Community falls to 8-12 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Pine Lake Prep (Mooresville, NC) to play the Pride in a 1A/2A Catawba Shores bout on Tuesday, February 11. The Pride go into the bout with a record of 5-16. Pine Lake Prep won 56-31 in their recent league bout against Langtree Charter Academy (Mooresville, NC)
