David Gabriel-Georges, Landen Williams-Callis, Trent Mosley, Kaiden Prothro headline the selections.
Each year since 2006, MaxPreps has recognized outstanding performers in high school football. America's source for high school sports continues the tradition to close out the 2025 season by naming the top player in each state. Selections are based on team success and individual excellence in addition to local and state accolades.
Gabriel-Georges led Baylor to its first undefeated season since 1973, rushing for 1,756 yards and 27 touchdowns. His best performance came in a 56-35 win over McCallie (Chattanooga) in the Division II Class AAA semifinals where he carried 32 times for 431 yards and seven scores.
Williams-Callis put together a monster junior campaign for Randle, posting 324 carries for 3,491 yards and 59 touchdowns — the third-most rushing scores in Texas history.
Mosley saved his best for last in leading Santa Margarita to its first state title since 2011. In section and state championship game victories, he caught 21 passes for 476 yards and four touchdowns while adding three scores on the ground.
Prothro capped his career by leading Bowdon to a fourth-straight Class A Division II state title. He hauled in 58 receptions for 1,115 yards and 27 touchdowns. He added 17 tackles and three interceptions on defense. The future Georgia Bulldog broke the state career record with 66 touchdown receptions.
